Cruise with Natasza 1 - Karolinka

It started with a dream… then an idea supported by many amazing people who, just like me, wanted to do something good for others.

When I took up the organisation of “Rejs z Nataszą” (Cruise with Natasza), I knew that I would become a part of something really important. I understood that the challenge ahead of me is much more difficult than sailing solo around the world – it’s making a special child’s dream come true!

In September last year, when Karolinka landed at the Cocos Islands, the sun seemed to shine in this extraordinarily beautiful way… Karolinka has many talents. Apart from having a beautiful voice, she knows how to make friends with people right at the moment they meet… We had so much to say, so many things to do, places to visit (actually, sleep seemed a total waste of time); these days passed in a blink of an eye! That was a really special meeting, and the guest onboard “Tanasza” was a really special person.

Memories of Karolinka’s visit, her beautiful smile, and her contagious serenity, are the greatest treasures which I took with me to the next stage of my around-the-globe cruise.

All this would not be possible if it was not for our cooperation with Anna Dymna’s "Against the Odds" ("Mimo wszystko") Foundation. It was non-material support of the foundation and help of all other donors of the project, who decided to support our cause, which made it all possible. I am deeply grateful to you all.
