And so we are here  Another day has passed. We got up quite early, at 6.45 am. The plane was scheduled to take off at 11.35 am, but Ada wanted to take us to a park with Australian animals before the departure. We arrived there right in time – it has just been opened. We went to the kangaroo section first. It was such an amazing experience! The animals were allowed to roam free around the park, they were not caged like in the zoo. We could approach them, and even feed them! They are very vulnerable creatures. Feeding them was so much fun! There were so many of them that, when I took the foodstuff out, they surrounded me before I even noticed  I have seen more animals in an hour and a half than we have planned. We have seen various birds, white and regular peacocks, a Tasmanian Devil, dingoes, a wombat and koalas. I could even touch the latter. A wombat weighs about 26kg and has really soft fur, just like koalas  I saw them [koalas] sleeping together on a wooden beam. They were so cute! We left the park and headed for the airport. We departed for Cocos Islands, but we didn’t get there just like that!  We had a timetable which clearly specified that we depart from Perth and fly to Cocos Island with one stopover at Christmas Islands. We were sure it would be so and we did not move from our seats at the first stop, as it was supposed to be Christmas Islands, or at least so we expected. We flew on and at the second stop we wanted to go off the plane, but we found out that the place we were in was not Cocos Islands, but Christmas Islands instead. It turned out that we had the wrong timetable. The plan landed on Cocos Islands, flew to Christmas Islands, and was to head back to Cocos Islands. Fortunately, we were able to head back to our destination point, it just took us a bit longer. Finally, we arrived at Cocos Islands. We were met by Natasza Caban and other people thanks to whom I was able to come there. First, we went to leave my luggage in my room, then for a supper, and finally, we decided to do some sightseeing around that new place. The island is not big, it is only 14km long. The Indian Ocean is marvellous. The entire place is so miraculous that it is virtually impossible to describe it with words. It is WONDERFUL!!! After an evening walk, we went back to our room and talked with Natasza until wee small hours  She is an exceptional person, really good-hearted. We’ve become friends in an instant  And tomorrow – adventure day one will begin!
