When I was on the Galapagos Islands, I got an e-mail from my friends who are also at sea saying that they had a 16-24 knots of constant wind and everything is splendid. So I'm wondering where it blows so well because here I feel like under a metal lid... as if this covering made of clouds was hugging my little Tanasza and me and it didn't want to let me have such splendid sailing. I'm not complaining, oh no. Although it's a bit slow and lazy, I'm not turning the engine on because it's so beautiful and quiet. (P.S. I know you should be careful what you are asking for, but a couple of knots more would be of some use.)
Two giant mahi-mahi swam by the sides of Tanasza for a long time. They sparkle so nice in the Sun. I threw them some bread and they ate it, good for them! And imagine that people fish and kill them. No! It's the same with a carp for Christmas -first, you play with it when it lives in your bathtub, you give it a name and then a boooooom on its head... no way. Later, I felt as if I was in a oceanarium because hordes of smaller fish, which were jumping out of water all the time, joined my colorful friends. And although their size was right, I mean right for my frying-pan, they didn't want to jump on the pan. So I made myself a meal proper for a tough guy sailor - farina! yummy
P.S. Besides writing my blog, I also do different things... I create, write, think... maybe one day you'll read it.
