Between 12 and 14 March, I visited Gdynia, and attended the Meeting of Travellers, Sailors and Alpinists. (www.kolosy.pl)
Like every year, the organizers did their best to make it beautiful. They made us all feel like a part of dreams of people presenting their projects.
It took part in Kolosy, five years ago, when I first decided to tell the wider audience about my dream to sail around the world alone. It was extremely pleasant to share my memories from the trip and talk about the fulfilled dream this time.
I haven’t got such warm reception of my presentation before and that surprised me. After all, is very hard to talk about ‘the whole world’ in 30 minutes, and describe over 2 years of the cruise.
I was also glad to meet the old friends. I received an honorary award from captain Wojciech Jacobson himself and the first woman who travelled the world alone – Mrs. captain Krystyna Chojanowska-Liskiewicz.
