Robert began his day by jumping into the swimming-pool and later, together with Andrzej, he went sightseeing. They saw warm springs and a volcano, which, as Robert told me, he liked very much. Probably, we’re going to see the waterfall today. On their way, they saw villages and a street market. From what they told me, the views must have been amazing and they had lots of adventures, they met the locals, and Robert was singing to Andrzej on their way back.
In the meantime, I sailed on Tanasza with Elvis (brother of the JJ’Paradise owner) to Soufriere Bay, where I picked up boys from the beach. Of course, Robert was absolutely wet as he had just got out of water. Then, on a local motorboat we went to see the cleft and we saw hundreds of vampires, well... I mean bats. I was really impressed, I could look at them and listen to them for hours...
On our way back to Marigor Bay, where our hotel is located, the dusk started falling as we were passing by lovely bays with beaches and palm trees. When we were mooring the yacht, Robert, as always, was given special challenges. This time they were: a. do not fall overboard, b. look at the engine lights in case one of them turns on. When we completed action mooring, we ordered dinner in a restaurant and went to have a shower. Robert took his plate with chicken fried with red pepper, salad and pasta casserole with cheese, and he ran to his large bed to watch cartoons on tv.
In the meantime, I met a gardener, who weaves baskets or makes small animals from palm leaves. I was given a grasshopper “for good luck.” When he was doing it, he didn’t even look at his hands – he was talking to me and at the same time interweaving and folding leaves... incredible! I also got a flower and a mango... I like mangos. Robert wanted to eat it peeled!
A couple of minutes later, a rainforest guide, with whom we became friends, visited us. He came to say goodbye to Robert and he even wanted to adopt him but he couldn’t buy me over! I went with him to the room so that he could talk with Robert and it turned out that Robert accepted an invitation to a local dancing party. As they say, our jaws dropped because usually Robert is sound asleep at that time. So we got into the car and 10 minutes later we were at the Friday party. There were stalls with local food and loud Caribbean music. Robert was curiously watching the dark-skinned dancers waving their long dreadlocks... I almost had to take him home by force. The guide was given a really huge hug... I think I was touched then...
