OK guys, I’m writing again:) Give me a moment and I will answer all your letters. What you perceive as ‘silence’ is a ‘storm’ out here – so much is happening! Most of you probably think that I spend whole days in a hammock and I rest, whereas I do hope that the day of ‘doing nothing’ will come at last. (today, for instance, I’ve been working on the engine for an entire day...).
Going back to the start, though, I think I need to tell you about the sea:
During the last 10 days of the Galapagos-Marquesas Islands stage I had issues with ‘electricity’, ie. with an alternator, I struggled with batteries – you know, no electricity means no contact with the world and the life is much more difficult in general. Another fuel reserve container broke – I had another unpleasant job to do, and it was very slippery here for some time. Once, a fish jumped into my sink.
