In order to get to the land from the anchorage, I have to call a water taxi on the radio. The other day, I was in a hurry and I tried to get it really quickly, but of course I had forgotten to turn on the radio beforehand. On the next day, in turn, I had left the radio set on the wrong channel (after I’d talked to some other yacht), and I was really angry and cursed taxi owners for not responding... I think dying my hair black is in vain, I’m a blonde, and I just can’t hide it, huh?;) Then, I got into this taxi – a tiny boat – and when I sat down on the small seat, I thought I would explode – I was wearing my pajamas’ shorts and the boat was really hot from the sun...

Jasiek is getting ready to set off, he’s invited me for supper on his beautiful yacht. He’s spent three years to prepare it for the cruise around the world. There are a few amazing stories related to it, and I could actually tell them to you, but I’m really a nuisance and talk too much instead of listening a bit more:)Someone suggested (quite right!) that I should have a timer with an alarm that would go off after 2 minutes of my gabbing... Sounds like a good idea, what do you reckon?

I gave Janek some horseradish, because he said he missed this taste. I actually brought it from Poland to Cape Town for Wanda, but I’ve forgotten to give it to her. Wanda, forgive me please... and, please, know that someone else was really happy to get it:)

Richard came in the morning to fix my solar panels. He’s just great! On St. Lucia I had three electricians who failed to repair the panels, and Richard just came, had a look and immediately knew what was going on – he showed me a rusty wire. When you know where the problem is, it’s much easier to solve it. I felt relieved, because 60 days on water, with just the engine to charge the batteries (and electricity is really important for me) was a pretty worrying prospect. While taking off the panel, we dropped a wrench, it fell to water, of course. But then, some magic worked:) I was going to take a shower, and on my way there was a spot where sailors leave books and other stuff they don’t need anymore (but someone else may need. And, guess what? Some wrench was there. Great, huh?

Oh, and I had a wonderfully professional photo session thanks to Alfredo – the owner of Madame Blanche and a night club. He plays the drums himself and he’s got his own radio broadcast, and a magazine devoted to music and arts...
You will have a chance to see the effect of his work soon:)
And if you happen to be in Panama, you must go dancing there. When you meet the owner, give him kisses and hugs from Natasza.

Alfredo told me that my nails need some preparation for the session. Well, I don’t know why he found the engine oil so disturbing... As I had no time to buy nail polish, I asked my friend to choose some for me. And he did. Bright pink!!! Doesn’t suit me at all... then I applied it on my nails, in a rush, on a swinging yacht, and a few drops landed on the deck, after which I put my computer on it. Just great!

Today, my friends took me for breakfast. Supposedly, I should not forget to eat. We were going to a milk bar, but I felt really bad on the way, started sneezing, and had to blow my nose, got a sore throat etc... Just as if I could afford it here! I have plenty to do! Well, I had no other choice but to go to the doctor.
On my way back after the whole day of sorting out hundreds of things, some yoghurt spilled in my bag. No need to add that the bag was full of stuff – notebooks, a computer, documents, cameras,  etc. I really flipped out 

I have a great way to have some physical exercise. In order to keep fit, I put my rubbish bag out on the deck, and every time I have to throw something away, I need to go up and down the stairs. It works really well, and I’m really glad:)
