Between 12 and 14 March, I visited Gdynia, and attended  the Meeting of Travellers, Sailors and Alpinists. (www.kolosy.pl) Like every year, the organizers did their best to make it beautiful. They made us all feel like a part of dreams of people presenting their projects. It took part in Kolosy, five years ago, when I first decided to tell the wider audience about my dream to sail around the world alone. It was extremely pleasant to share my memories from the trip and talk about the fulfilled dream this time. I haven’t got such warm reception of my presentation before and that surprised me. After all, is very hard to talk about ‘the whole world’ in 30 minutes, and describe over 2 years of the cruise. I was also glad to meet the old friends. I received an honorary award from captain Wojciech Jacobson himself and the first woman who travelled the world alone – Mrs. captain Krystyna Chojanowska-Liskiewicz.

“Three Elements” Festival On 13 March 2010, I visited Cracow with pleasure again. This time, I was honoured with an invitation to the “Three Elements” Travellers Meeting (www.3zywioly.pl). It was a very well organised event, where many amazing people of the traveller’s world met. We listened to interesting lectures and saw wonderful keepsakes from various expeditions from nearly every corner of the world. An ability to follow the broadcast from the festival live on the Onet.pl portal was an additional attraction. Thanks to that, even more people could take part in the festival, especially those who, from various reasons, couldn’t attend the meeting personally – great applause for the organizers! I received a very warm welcome, indeed. I would like to thank particularly  Arek, a friend of my trip. The hall, where the meeting took part was full of people. After the lecture, I was asked a lot of additional questions. Thank you...

On 8 March, I had a huge pleasure to visit the library of the Centrum Szkolenia Marynarki Wojennej (Polish Navy Training Centre) in Ustka. It is the same library from which I borrowed one of the most beautiful books I have read in my entire life – The Mirror of the Sea by Joseph Conrad.   The event was perfectly prepared! I am very grateful to the ladies for the exhibition, a place for me in the visitor’s book, coffee and cakes... It was a very nice meeting and I’ve felt really exceptional today. Since it is Women’s Day, my presentation on the solo cruise around the world was meant to show it from a woman’s perspective. I also talked about women from various countries I visited during the journey. I dedicate my today’s speech to them. I wish all the ladies such nice meetings each day! :)

5.03.2010 At Dwór Artusa in Gdańsk, Rejs Roku 2009 (Cruise of the Year 2009) awards were given.   I had the honour to receive the 2nd award in Rejs Roku 2009, given ex aequo to the Polonia sailor – Andrzej Lepiarczyk, also for a solo cruise. I am proud of the fact that the award went to a citizen of Ustka for the third time. Two years ago, it was Roman Kwiatkowski, followed by Edward Zając a year ago. I wish all the best to all the sailors. Come home safe!

Today, I had the honour to be the guest of the opening of the second semester of the Ustka branch of the University of the Third Age. The meeting was organised in a beautiful Town Hall of the City of Ustka. This time, I did not talk about my cruise, but I decided to tell the audience about two charity campaigns which I organised in cooperation with the Against The Odds Foundation: Cruise with Natasza and Medivet Cruise with Natasza. The subject of my presentation was not just random - you should know that the students of the University of the Third Age actively support the charity campaign whose aim is to help a person from Ustka in need. My story about the joy which I managed to give to the two children was meant to encourage everyone to help others. I also wanted to thank to all these good people from all around the world who helped me fulfil the dream of those two kids, laureates of Festiwal Zaczarowanej Piosenki (the Festival of the Magical Song) in Cracow. Once again -...

First of all, I would like to thank a unique friend of my cruise for giving me a lift to Gryfino, where I was invited to take part in “Włóczykij”, the festival of travellers, but not only for them. Great atmosphere, perfect organization and excellent buffet waited for me there! :) In Gryfino, I had a pleasure of meeting personally a couple of people with whom I had had so far, the e-mail contact only. I was extremely happy to meet Karolinka Sawka, who came to the Festival with her parents. The meeting with this charming young lady was like a wave of positive energy. I was given a beautiful Tigger (my favourite character from Winnie the Pooh :)). From now on, the Tigger will accompany me during my next cruises . Natasza invites everyone to “Włóczykij”, the 2nd Festival...

After 3 weeks of travelling around Poland, I finally reached Szczecin. At first, I was wonderfully entertained by Mrs Katarzyna Wolnik - Sayna from  Radio Szczecin (I hope that you will soon be able to hear our conversation on the air). The afternoon hours brought a nice visit to Pałac Młodzieży in Szczecin. I took part in one of the meetings of “The Sailing Evenings” cycle, within the framework of The Programme of Naval Education. Like in the previous year, the atmosphere of the meeting was nautical indeed. I watched the presentation of DZ cruises with great attention and interest (presentation of the young sailors from the Sailing Centre – with Capitan Mietek Ircha to Gdynia and the seniors – with Capitan Michał Jósewicz to Copenhagen). To find out how the sailors form Szczecin sail and how much passion they have for it, was fantastic! Thanks to this presentation I could see what Polish ports look like - thank you for that! After the meeting, I listened to Capitan...

I am very happy that I could share the story of my journey around the world on the occasion of the 8th edition of ‘Dni Turystyki’ (Days of Tourism), taking place in Poznań, at the Adam Mickiewicz University. I was even happier that I could meet Aleksandra Daukszewicz, an author and performer of a beautiful song about dreams – ‘Marzenia są jak wiatr’ (Dreams are like the wind). I used it in my presentation. Yet another thing, which made me exceptionally happy, was the meeting with Mr Mirosław Sziwa, the designer of Nat 17.2 yacht, and the builder of the model of the yacht in which I sailed around the Earth. A miniature of ‘Tanasza’ is beautiful. I am so grateful to its maker. Thank you!
