A sea is full of life, something is moving in the depths all the time. They called for the search for Roland’s yacht...:”maxi doesn’t want to come home” – those were the last words transmitted by the yacht... and yachts do have souls...

 "Tyra" is close again. It’s good for they keep watch while I am asleep. A broken nail has been added to the log of losses. My alarm clock doesn’t like me anymore, I guess. It stopped working and I almost overslept Cape of Good Hope... Geez!!!

It Is very cold and I can’t find the other glove... yet, it is so beautiful!
Marvellous morning, so many dolphins, and seals, and birds, and mountains... A lighthouse marking way for ships... its light still visible in the dark...

Sunset. The cape itself! a view which I will never forget... 
A magical place where it is almost possible to feel breaths and hear conversations of those sailors who successfully passed Cape of Good Hope, and of those who lie at the bottom of the sea...

Squalls brought wind from the mountains – Table Mountain was totally hidden in clouds, then silence, and about 45 knots head to wind just round the corner, before reaching a port...

The club is full of life. Dozens of sailors, lots of people around the yachts in the port, lots of folks in a bar. The place houses sailors from around the world. Another stage of “Portimao Global Race” has just started (next stop at New Guinea) – a professional departure with TV cameras, a helicopter, guests, and yachts which sail to see crews off... The club provides everything a sailor may need: internet access, laundry, showers, good food and cheap drinks... This is the life. Cape Town is such a beautiful city. I wonder how is it possible that I came here only today and not before?

At least a well earned rest for me and Tanasza.
